
Loree Russeau is an USA/International dance educator, choreographer, judge, syllabus designer & entrepreneur.
Ms Russeau began her dance training at the age of 3 in the metro Detroit area, learning various forms of dance. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where her studies included Education, Business, Dance & Health. Ms. Russeau went on to open a successful Dance Academy. Loree has been well known on the USA dance convention circuit for over 3 decades teaching for Danny and Betty Hoctor’s Dance Caravan, Stars of Tomorrow, Professional Dance Teachers of America and Dance Educators of America. She was the director and CEO of DTUSA International a New York City based dance company for 8 years.
Under Loree’s expertise instruction, her students have been awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to art schools and universities all over the country, including the Joffrey Ballet, ABT, Point Park College, Columbia University, The University of Michigan, Peridance Capezio Center, Miss America Scholarship Program, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center. Her students have gone on and are now performing with companies around the world including the World Famous Radio City Rockettes! With one her students Kaye Lani Rae Rafko being crowned Miss America!
Ms Russeau has been an International guest judge & teacher for Dance Master Class Urbania, Italy, Granada & Seville Spain, Panama Summer Dance Festival, Panama City, Magic World International Festival Haskovo, Bulgaria, Bucharest Dance Festival, Bucharest, Romania, Blandi Events. Spain, Italy, Malta & La Luna Dance Center, Italy.
In 2019 Loree was a European Advocate for NYC STEPS ON BROADWAY and presented over $21,000 in scholarships to Steps New York City/Global Dance Education & Visa program. Many of Loree’s exchanges have included working closely with the Russia & West Virginia Foundation bringing artists dancers & musicians to the United States from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in Moscow, Russia and La Luna Dance Center in Ancona, Italy.
Currently an International Judge for Magic World Festival, Bulgaria, Maestros Faculty member for Blandi Dance Events, Madrid-Barcelona Spain, Malta & Italy, Maestros Faculty member at La Luna Dance Center, Ancona, Italy, guest artist in Panama City, Panama, & a Championship Adjudicator for WADF.
Loree is working very strongly for cultural exchange programs between dancers and artists in the USA, Europe & South America presenting scholarships & programs all over the world. Currently residing in Southern California, private coaching, teaching & training in the USA & abroad. Ms Russeau is working closely with the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, supporting new artist projects in California, USA.
