Loree Russeau is a globally celebrated dance educator, choreographer, and business leader currently based in Southern California. She works in business operations at Intelliscape Films and Travel Ball Partners in Los Angeles, contributing to film, multimedia, and entrepreneurial ventures. Loree also collaborates with Project Runway designer Gordana Gehlhausen, supporting creative projects at the intersection of fashion and performance, and works closely with the California Center for the Arts.

In 2025, her choreography was featured at Walt Disney World, and her work was spotlighted at the CDF Festival in Ancona, Italy, at the iconic Mole Vanvitelliana. She returned as a Master Class Instructor at La Luna Dance Center in July 2025, reaffirming her global impact on dance education.
Ms. Russeau’s scholarship efforts include ongoing collaborations with the Peridance Center (2023–2025), expanding international access to elite dance training. Previously, she served as European Advocate for Steps on Broadway (NYC) in 2019, where she awarded over $21,000 in scholarships to international students. In 2016, she was a featured guest artist at the Dance Master Class in Granada and Seville, Spain, collaborating with Angela DeMello, former soloist with the Royal Ballet and Principal Dancer with the English National Ballet.
As the founder and former Artistic Director of the Academy of Dance in the Detroit metro area, Ms. Russeau mentored generations of dancers and built a nationally respected program. Through Dance Theatre USA, she has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to elite institutions such as:
She previously served as Vice President of the Professional Dance Teachers of America and was a longtime member of the All-Star Staff on the nationally touring Dance Caravan USA, contributing to instructional dance videos that have supported educators and students nationwide.
Her commitment to cultural exchange includes work with the Russia & West Virginia Foundation, facilitating artist exchanges with the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Her scholarship programs have supported students from over a dozen countries, including Canada, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Italy, Costa Rica, Russia, England, and Scotland.
Ms. Russeau holds a degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she studied Education, Business, Dance, and Health Education. She is also a Certified Pilates Instructor, specializing in injury prevention and physical conditioning.
Her students have gone on to perform with the Radio City Rockettes, on Broadway, and in major commercial entertainment productions. Among her notable alumni is Kaye Lani Rae Rafko, crowned Miss America 1988.
She has been honored as a Master Teacher by Professional Dance Teachers of America, Hoctor’s Dance Caravan, Stars of Tomorrow, and Dance Educators of America. She is also a Championship Adjudicator for the World Artistic Dance Federation (WADF). Loree continues to shape the international competitive dance scene with her expertise and passion for excellence.
