
Loree Russeau
Acclaimed instructor, global choreographer, and sought-after educator, Loree Russeau has been shaping the dance profession for over three decades. Recognized as a Master Teacher by the Professional Dance Teachers of America, the USA National Tour of Hoctor’s Dance Caravan, Stars of Tomorrow, and Dance Educators of America, her influence in the dance community is immeasurable.
Her passion for dance education has impacted thousands of students worldwide. Ms. Russeau has granted scholarships totaling over $500,000 to renowned art schools and universities, including Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theater, University of Michigan, Peridance Capezio Center, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps on Broadway. She has also awarded U.S. scholarships to students through her company, Dance Theatre USA.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with studies in Education, Business, Dance, and Health Education, Ms. Russeau worked with the Russia & West Virginia Foundation, facilitating several international exchanges that brought dancers and musicians from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory to the U.S. She has also awarded scholarships to students from countries such as Canada, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Italy, Costa Rica, Russia, England, and Scotland.
In 2016, Ms. Russeau was honored to be a guest artist for the Dance Master Class in Granada and Seville, Spain, working with Angela DeMello, a former soloist at the Royal Ballet and Principal Dancer at English National Ballet. She continues to work as a freelance artist with several prestigious schools, offering her expertise and nurturing the next generation of dancers across the globe.
In 2019, Ms. Russeau served as a European Advocate for STEPS ON BROADWAY, awarding $21,000 in scholarships for their New York City/Global Dance Education and Visa programs. She has continued her scholarship efforts with Peridance Center in 2023, 2024, and 2025, offering global opportunities to aspiring dancers.
Ms. Russeau's students have gone on to perform with prestigious companies worldwide, including the World-Famous Radio City Rockettes, in music videos, commercials, and Broadway productions. Notably, her student Kaye Lani Rae Rafko was crowned Miss America in 1988.
As of 2023, Ms. Russeau serves as the USA Ambassador for Blandi Dance Events in Malta and La Luna Dance Center in Italy. She is a Championship Adjudicator for the World Artistic Dance Federation (WADF) and an International Master Class instructor and judge for major dance events such as La Luna Dance Center in Ancona, Italy, the Magic World Festival in Bulgaria, TDX in Panama City, Panama, the Bucharest Dance Festival in Romania, and Blandi Dance Events in Malta & Spain.
Ms. Russeau is based in Southern California and is actively involved in a range of entertainment and business ventures. She collaborates with Project Runway designer Gordana Gehlhausen and contributes to creative projects with the California Center for the Arts. Additionally, she plays a key role in business operations with Grand Avenue Entertainment and Travel Ball Partners.
